Supreme Dance

Supreme Dance is an event with a love of dance and performance at its very heart. Through our considered approach we treat every dancer fairly, with respect and as VIPs. The most important thing within our ethos is the taking part and that this experience allows all dancers to grow in confidence as young artists.  We will ensure dancers, teachers and parents & guardians all have a fabulous time.

The partnership will work collaboratively to celebrate both brands’ shared ethos of inclusivity, integrity, and the importance of creating a high-quality event experience while sharing a strong passion for dance. We cannot wait for some of their winners to be showcasing their incredible talent on the newly transformed Discovery Stage in our Supreme Winners Takeover at MOVE IT 2026!

Claire Coldwell, Founder & Director

Having a wealth of experience in event management in the private and public sector, directing and managing large events in the dance and drama world, Claire is very passionate about running her own dance competition.  With the backing of her sponsor Bird College and the support of her Patron Luis de Abreu and the wonderful Supreme Team, she is very proud of what Supreme Dance has achieved and cant wait to see what the future brings in the Competition World.

 

 

How We are Different to Other American style UK based Competitions

  1. We are Partnered with “Move It” and will be holding slots on the newly sized Discovery Stage at Move It! 2026 for Supreme winners to perform across the whole weekend.
  2. We have an official sponsor in Bird College.
  3. Bird College awards Summer or Easter short courses worth £400 at every event to up to 3 lucky dancers at each event.
  4. We are partnered with the Fabulous Fi Whyte Photography and the Wonderful Rob Hooker Photography.
  5. We have NOT increased dancer entry fees for the 3rd year running.
  6. We do not charge an extra fee for special awards, ALL dancers are considered for ALL special awards.
  7. We do not finish past 9pm.
  8. All dancers receive a participation medal.
  9. If a dancer places in a solo, duet, trio or group they each receive a placing medal.
  10. Our solo performers receive verbal feedback at the end of each section as a group.
  11. Every dance receives written feedback from each judge.
  12. There are always 3 judges on the panel – 1 from Bird College, 1 a current industry professional and 1 a dance school principal.
  13. We ALWAYS run to time.
  14. We are NOT affiliated with any dance school.
  15. Audience participation is actively encouraged by our host
  16. The Supreme team is made up of my family and friends, who will look after you and your dancers all weekend.
  17. Our feedback is always very positive so we can promise you a weekend of fun, high energy and dance dance dance.
